Classic staircases for any interior
Whether you live in a townhouse, a country villa, or a classic parsonage-style home, a classic staircase fits into any interior—provided you choose the right type of wood and finish. White-painted steps blend perfectly with a rustic setting; dark oak restores a mansion’s dignity.
Our sales representatives, Arnaud and Charlotte, are happy to help you determine which style and type of wood best suit your home. A free consultation will help you get a clear picture of the possibilities.
What sets Trappen Demunster apart from ordinary staircase manufacturers is our in-house sawmill. We select our own logs in the forest, cut and dry the wood at our facility in Deerlijk, and then craft it in our workshop. This allows us to maintain complete control over quality—from tree to step.
For classic staircases, we prefer to use oak or beech. Oak is our absolute favorite: it offers a warm appearance combined with exceptional durability, and its natural grain pattern gives each staircase a unique character. Beech is a strong, budget-friendly wood with a sleek, uniform appearance—ideal for those who want a timeless staircase that offers excellent value for the money. Other types of wood are available, depending on the desired look and budget.
